Scope:  From manufacturers to service providers, regardless of whether a firm’s clients are businesses or consumers, for-profit or not, supply chain management (SCM) impacts all organizations.  Customers already demand high quality and low prices.  In today’s global markets, user convenience, delivery speed, and promise date reliability are becoming increasingly important from a value perspective.  As a result, flawless deployment has become essential to competing successfully in a global marketplace.

CSCP takes a broad view of SCM, extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the links throughout a value chain network—from supplier to end consumer—and how to effectively integrate, manage, and innovate these activities to optimize supply chain performance.  Web tools with an online dictionary, e-flashcards, practice questions, pre- and post-tests are included with each Participant Learning System.

Who Should Attend?  Operations professionals holding a bachelor’s degree, an APICS or ISM certification, or with five years of business experience qualify to sit for the CSCP certification Exam.  CSCP’s designation is ideal for professionals employed by retailers, distributors, government or manufacturers--or for service providers within the logistics, customshouse brokerage, international trade or financing, ERP, consulting, or teaching sectors.  

Cost:  Registration fee of $3135 member includes tuition, exam fee plus the following materials:

Curriculum:  Classes are highly interactive with a combination of reading assignments, group discussions, resource handouts, team exercises, hands-on worksheets, videos, web clips and case studies.  44 classroom hours will be devoted to each of the three CSCP Modules:

     1.  Supply Chain Design (2 spiral-bound books)     

     2.  Supply Chain Planning & Execution (2 spiral-bound books)

     3.  Supply Chain Improvement & Best Practices (1 book)

Ms. Joni Holeman, CFPIM, CIRM, CSCP, CLTD

Joni serves as DC Metro's VP of Education and is President of Affirmation Training Inc.   Joni has over 25 years of planning, material management and manufacturing experience in businesses ranging from custom lighting (ETO), value engineering, electronics (MTO & ATO) and remanufacturing (MTS).  Each point along her career path prepared her for the concepts she now instructs.  A professional trainer since 1998, Joni teaches the entire suites for APICS Principles, CPIM, CSCP and CLTD programs as well as human potential workshops. 

Joni believes that learning should also be fun.  Her courses are known for their supportive environment, hands-on activities and handouts filled with go-to resources.
