Company Appreciation- Companies that sponsor and advocate the APICS chapter's mission should be formally recognized in a manner that promotes further involvement in the APICS organization.

Award Presented to JLG

JLG has 45 members in the DC Metro chapter, including 18 who have earned CSCP certifications and 4 who have earned CPIM certifications.  JLG hosted a series of CPIM Certification review courses in McConnellsburg. JLG also hosted a CSCP Certification review course in Hagerstown this past fall.  4 JLG team members served as volunteers at various positions on the board and committees that operate DC Metro APICS, including the chairperson of the Cumberland Valley Committee, Sheryl Moles.  3 additional team members from JLG will be serving in the upcoming year.  Without these volunteer's efforts, we would not be able to offer events like this one  Over the past few years JLG has hosted tours at its McConnellsburg and Shippensburg plants and has hosted meetings, such as this year's strategic planning meeting for the chapter

Pictured accepting the Company of the Year award and a certificate of our appreciation from JLG are:

Mark Vierling, Vice President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain (GPSC)

Will McLean, GPSC Director
